Adam Lamagna

Adam is a Solutions Consultant for Oomph, Inc., a digital design and engineering firm. His primary focus is to help clients find the right solution to their web challenge. Cultivating new relationships, he works with companies to help find the balance between design, technology, and business.

Aileen McDonough

Aileen has been in the word business since she won the citywide spelling bee in 5th grade. The Connecticut native has over 15 years of experience in writing, editing, marketing, and publishing. Her experience ranges from writing and editing to sales, marketing and social media. Her articles have been published in The Rhode Island Small Business Journal and most recently in Dawnland Voices: An Anthology of Indigenous Writing from New England. Aileen blogs as Honda Mama for wehearthonda.com and is launching a blog about women’s mindfulness this fall.

Ajay Coletta

Ajay Coletta is an Assistant Professor at New England Institute of Technology in the Graphics, Multimedia and Web Design program where he teaches multiple courses in WordPress. Ajay uses WordPress for blogging, theme development and managing his band’s website www.hey19band.com

Anthony Laurence

Anthony started as a designer and developer and has been building WordPress sites since 2010. During his career, he quickly learned that most clients need more than just a website built, so he began diving into online marketing as well.

Brett Cohen

CEO/Co-Founder of a 45-person+ agency called emagine (headquartered in Taunton). 15+ years ago started as a very typical “2 guys in a garage” firm building small websites on a proprietary CMS. Today, emagine develops WordPress-powered websites for multi-billion dollar, multi-national companies in the areas of B2B, High-Tech, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Professional Services. emagine has built roughly 1,000 websites over the years (over 100 since adopting WordPress a couple years ago).

Colin Murphy

Colin Murphy is a designer, design thinker, and consultant with a background in business, and communications. Since 1996, Mr. Murphy has run communications and business consulting organizations working with hundreds of large and small clients. His company, and he, have been developing in WordPress for 5 years.

His clients have included, in healthcare, Lifespan, CVS, and HCSC; museums including Harvard Art Museums and RISD Museum; and financial services organizations including State Street Bank and Wells Fargo. Additionally, for five years, Mr. Murphy ran Shape Up RI, a statewide, online, wellness non-profit. Among other tools he uses design thinking to help organizations and companies move products and processes forward.

Mr. Murphy graduated from RISD with a degree in design, from University of RI with an MBA and has medical training including being a Registered Nurse (R.N.)

Daniella Norwood

Daniella Norwood is the founder of Ella J Designs,a WordPress Website Development and Online Marketing Firm in Rhode Island.  Publications such as Forbes.com and the Providence Business News have highlighted her expertise.  She’s a fan of WordPress websites and gives back to the community by helping to organize the annual Rhode Island WordCamp and being active in the Providence WordPress MeetUp.
Daniella is the mother of two who is teaching her 6-year-old how to code and can’t wait for her 3-year-old to start too!

Lydia Rogers

Lydia Rogers is the Senior Communications Officer – Web Producer at Lifespan.org and is also an Adjunct Professor of Communications at the Community College of Rhode Island. At Lifespan she creates and edits web pages for Lifespan.org, RhodeIslandHospital.org, MiriamHospital.org, and NewportHospital.org. At CCRI, she teaches Social Media Communication and Mass Media Fundamentals: from the Printing Press to the Internet.This is the third WordCamp Lydia has helped organize. She wrote many of the blog posts and was active on Social Media leading up to WordCamp RI 2015. She has a Masters in Media Studies (new and traditional) from Rhode Island College and a B.A. in Mathematics from Mount Holyoke College.

Max Morgan

Max is the Lead Front End Developer at Linchpin and has been working as a dev for seven years. Originally from South Shore Massachusetts, Max began his journey to Rhode Island in 2007 when he attended the New England Institute of Technology in Warwick. Since then, he has been on a mission to be the best dev he can. With a wide array of skills, he found his passion with WordPress, Sass and the whole Front End experience. Michael McWilliams

Veteran public affairs strategist, executive, and communicator with experience across diverse fields. Now working as an Encore Fellow focused on building organizational capacity in key facets of nonprofit fundraising, communication, and advocacy. Also serve as public affairs agent and writer for mission-based organizations. Repatriated to the US from Stockholm, Sweden in 2010 upon finishing work with an international NGO focused on the growing global water crisis. Had earlier worked in the American public policy and nonprofit arenas after a lengthy career in the corporate world.

RC works at WetPaint where he builds marketing tools for WordPress. He lives in Portland, Maine and tries to be outdoors as much as possible in his free time.

Robbie Moore

Robbie is the creative director at 3 Media Web, a WordPress shop in Westborough, MA. The opposite of a digital native – his first computer used floppies as backup discs, so you know he’s kickin’ it old skool. He has taught print/web design, integrated marketing, brand development and typography at the University of Nebraska, Union College and Doane College and most recently, designed WP-based sites for biopharma start ups and tech PR firms. In his free time he loves cycling then slacking w/his pups while vegging out on NFL network reruns.

Tony Mazzarella

Tony Mazzarella is co-founder and Software Development Manager for Wanna Pixel Inc, an agency that focuses on web strategy for Social Good organizations. He is also one of the humans behind the UkuuPeople Simple CRM Plugin for WordPress. After hours, Tony is a Board Member of DAMA International and an active member, organizer and speaker in the New York City open-source community. While there is no direct connection that we have found, Tony bears a strong resemblance to Eric the Red.
