Mary Beth Amaral
As a co-organizer for the WordPress Rhode Island Meetup group, this is the 3rd consecutive year Mary Beth has helped to plan, organize and volunteer at WordCamp Rhode Island.
Mary Beth is the lead designer at Linchpin, a digital agency based out of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, where she dreams dreams of a pixel perfect world. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Art History, Mary Beth’s love of learning sent her back to her alma mater where she further explored her passion for information architecture and user experience, earning a degree in Web & Interactive Design. When she’s away from her computer, Mary Beth enjoys renovation projects around the house and spending time with her dogs, Wren and Sadie.

Jennifer Kusiak
I am an organizer…I like to order my life so it’s easier to navigate and everybody knows where their car keys are, though we seldom ever live up to that ideal.
I also like to help and do nice things for other people, it makes me happy.
Today, I am a Certified Project Manager currently managing projects for Alex And Ani as an IT Project Coordinator. However, I got my start volunteering in the WordPress Community working with the talented team over at Linchpin 3 years ago.
I live on a farm that I’m rehabbing with my partner, his daughter, our 2 dogs, 2 rats, 17 chickens, and single bearded dragon…his name is Spike. I also enjoy playing Diablo 3, hiking, standup paddle-boarding, and marveling over how good Netflix’s programming is.
Thank You All for allowing me to help do nice things for wonderful people, WordCamp RI!
Peace, Love & WordPress,
-The Herder of Cats

Karen Callahan
Karen Callahan is principal of Adventures Online, a WordPress-centric website development firm in Marlborough, MA. Her WordPress experience dates back to when WordPress was known as “b2”, and, Karen has built over 100 WordPress blogs & websites. Through the years, she has written custom widgets and plugins to meet her clients’ business requirements.
Karen prefers WordPress because it has a simple interface with a quick learning curve. Once the website is launched, her clients can be independent and maintain the website on their own. Karen’s favorite scenario is when a client manages their own WordPress website, and calls on her to complete complex stuff or for more advanced training.
Karen considers herself a student of WordPress. She attends WordPress Meetups and WordCamps (and any other WordPress-related seminar/ workshop that comes to her attention).
Karen is proud to be included as a co-organizer for the 2nd year in a row for WordCamp RI ( @WordCampRI ). Want to know more about how Karen feels about the 2016 WordCamp RI?
