Her WordPress experience dates back to when WordPress was known as “b2”, and, Karen has built over 100 WordPress blogs & websites. Through the years, she has written custom widgets and plugins to meet her clients’ business requirements.

Karen prefers WordPress because it has a simple interface with a quick learning curve. Once the website is launched, her clients can be independent and maintain the website on their own. Karen’s favorite scenario is when a client manages their own WordPress website, and calls on her to complete complex stuff or for more advanced training.

Karen considers herself a student of WordPress. She attends WordPress Meetups and WordCamps (and any other WordPress-related seminar/ workshop that comes to her attention).

Karen is proud to be included as a co-organizer for the 2nd year in a row for WordCamp RI ( @WordCampRI ).
